Marc Johnson on manuals!

January 15, 2007 | Skip To The Comments (4)

Here's another of the never-before-seen manual article interviews from a few years ago with Marc Johnson. Coming soon are Henry Sanchez, Tim O'Connor, Karl Watson and Biebel!

What was your favorite place to do manuals?

On the manual island.
Who/what made you first want to try manual tricks?

Watching Jovante Turner, Brian Lotti, Mark Gonzales, Jason Lee and Mike Vallely.

What was the first "hard" manual trick you learned?

Ollie to manual on something. Getting that down was tough.

What was the one you are most proud of?

Taking pride in a skateboard trick is sad.

What took you longest to learn?

The nose manual through "the loop" took awhile.

What haven't you landed yet but are working on, or gave up on?

The meaning of life.

Who is the king of the manual?

Whoever has the balls to wear a thorny crown.

What is the most memorable manual trick ever done?

Whichever ones you remember, I guess.
