Joaquin Phoenix Is Goofy-Footed!
This photo couldn't look any more "tabloid" if I tried.
So I'm sitting in the office at etnies today and there's like, people buzzin' around like mad. So I walk around to find out what all the fuss is about, only to discover that Joaquin Phoenix is in the company store gettin' some free shit. Why do all the rich people get everything for free? They are the ones who can totally afford it.
So a mess of employees were lurking about and asking to get photos with Joaquin, but he politely refused photos and offered to sign some autographs instead. I guess that's kinda cool and kinda lame at the same time. I mean, what's the harm in taking a photo with the people (fans) who are part of the the reason you are a successful millionaire actor in the first place, right? Whatever, but once I saw him refusing photos, that's when I felt the need to snipe one of him. And I got him walking across the parking lot, in all his glory, in his new free èS shoes and rubbing his gut. Perfect!
About 15 minutes later, I was returning from my daily my green tea run, and I seriously see him and his entourage skating down the street. He was wearing a helmet too, which was downright hilarous. Safety first! But it turns out Mr. Phoenix can actually stand on a board and push and roll! He is goofy-footed I might add. Hooray for Goofy!
As I was getting my camera out to attempt a video poach of this magnificently bizarre moment, he swerved off the sidewalk, completely out of control, and into the grass while his crew skated on and he had to catch up. I opted not to chase him down the street in pursuit of video footage.
All in all, Joaquin bein' down with skateboarding is pretty cool I suppose. Besides, I'm a fan of Return To Paradise. Amazing. Its times like these that make me love the randomness of life in the skateboarding world.
Oh, and FYI, he actually didn't push mongo!

Before there were 50 people outside straight lurking on this guy (that has got to suck), I was on my way to the other building, and saw his attempt at a kickflip, it was what you expect, not so great. I didn't know he refused to take pictures that's kinda lame I mean he is getting free shit us. But on the other hand he has to worry about his image and all that other shit I don't understand. Whatever, doesn't bother me one way or another, like you said I guess it's cool he can stand on a board and push around.

Let's look at this: a celebrity: getting free shit/refusing to take photos/then skating near the sole tech office rocking a helmet? "I'll go get some free shit from sole tech, make sure there is a helmet and a skateboard in the car so I can show all those people at sole tech that I can hang?"
